Over the past 48 years, the Oakville School of Dance has grown from a small local dance studio to an internationally renowned classical ballet school. Graduates of The Oakville School of Dance are now performing and teaching in professional ballet companies and schools worldwide.

The Oakville School of Dance provides exceptional ballet training for beginning to professional students in Southern Ontario . The School, which was founded by Elizabeth Paterson in 1960, has developed into a widely recognized learning institution. A full range of graded classes provide a unique opportunity for students of all ages to study the traditions of classical ballet, modern, jazz, Spanish dance and Character and Folk dance.

The dedicated faculty of resident teachers offer personal attention and superb training to match each student's interest whether it be the General Division, the Professional Training Program or the Company Training Program.

The Oakville School of Dance is located in the heart of beautiful Olde Oakville on Lake Ontario , and is just steps away from many fine shops, restaurants, and The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts. The School lies in close proximity to public transportation, and is easily accessible via the Oakville Transit system, and Go Rail, and Via Rail.

The Oakville School of Dance also offers classes at its North Oakville location at the Glen Abbey Recreation Centre, Room C (next to the information desk), 1415 3rd Line, Oakville.
